Exit Hardware Inspection, Repair and Replacement

A panic bar must work with the door, frame, latch arrangement and required exit function. Before repair or replacement, identify whether the device is rim, vertical rod or another configuration and whether the opening carries a fire-rating label.
Life-safety hardware should not be blocked, improvised or modified to keep a door open. Hardware selection must be checked against the opening, occupancy and applicable requirements. Permits, inspection or coordination with the fire marshal, property manager or another trade may be necessary.
Call 346-777-8777 and provide photos of the full door, device ends, latch area and labels. Scope, availability and an estimate are confirmed before work begins.
